The Gallery Walk, the first of it's kind in Canada, was formed in 1981 to promote within our community both art and artists of merit, focusing especially on work by Canadian artists.

The Gallery Walk Area is located just West of the downtown core in the 124 St. area, a vital business community with many quality restaurants, gift and clothing shops, bookstores, live theatre venues and many more specialty businesses in its 12 block area.

The seven member galleries on the walk are easily accessible within a six block walking distance. There are three advertised unguided events presented per year; Spring, Fall and Winter. Exhibits are unique to each gallery and are planned for gallery walks.

We encourage group walks throughout the year, and will be happy to assist in the planning of any gallery walk for schools, conventions, or groups in general.
